Here's the Easter Bunny!

His name is Chu actually, and we only got him a couple of months ago. I have pics from when he was tiny, but they are just iphone snaps. I don't know if I should post them here?

Anyways, hope everyone is enjoying their Easter, celebrating the zombification of Christ and eating lots of Chocolate :9

Hi, I´m surprised you have no tolerance for others that believe in our Lord. Your comment is not funny and you should say sorry.

I tolerate it :p

Can be a touchy issue I suppose, but here you are in the blog of a non-believer. Good thing no one is forcing you to stay :)

thanks for your answer Markus,
do you mean you are an atheist? I´m a bit surprised since I saw your pics taken at the church and you are from Norway, right?

I thought folks from Norway were superpolite about others belief, even if they do not go to see our Lord.

It is great to be able to talk about this issues, even if this blog is mainly visual.

I´m from the US!

Religion is something personal in Norway yeah. It's a very secular country though, despite being officially protestant, and for the most part the only devout Christians are elderly people. So I guess it's not just about privacy, but also the fact that most people will get a bit uncomfortable if you start telling them about raining frogs and walking on water.

I don't know what church photos you mean, but I never visit those for mass. It's only as a tourist or for weddings and funerals.

So yep, I am 100% atheist.

wow! 100% since when?
you mean your family is also atheist but everyone in Norway keeps a religious funeral or wedding because it is traditional?
Thanks for the feedback about your country. Here in the US, very few people know about your beautiful country.
If you are an atheist, why it turns you a bit off that others praise our Lord. That is something that I never quite understood.
Would you still meet me even if I´m religious?

Since my early teens I guess? Religion is not a big part of life where I come from so it's not a big deal if you reject it. And so, I don't even remember.

My grandmother is kind of Christian I guess, but she doesn't go to church and this last Christmas we were laughing together about some of the more extreme stuff in Leviticus. And yes, for the funerals etc it's because of tradition. Weddings are more easy to do outside of church, but for funerals there is not really another easy system I guess.

I don't really have any problem with friends being religious. That's your business. When I say it makes people uncomfortable...I guess you can compare it to someone saying that they believe in Santa Claus or fairies. To me Christianity sounds just as ridiculous as those things. It's strange to me when rational minds accept those things as truth, and then it makes me question their judgement a little. But like I said, that's your business and you are free to pray as much as you want ^__^

Amazing, Markus. Do you remember that extreme part you were talking about with your grandmother. I find very strange that on Christmas both of you start laughing at the Holy Bible. How this all started?
Do you think you are you a very rational guy or only think in rational mode for religious affairs? because some of your pics can touch our hearts, like the funeral pics.

I have emotions, but that doesn't mean I can't be rational about it. It's bad if you let emotions cloud your judgement too much.

I don't really remember how that conversation started. I think maybe because my aunt got a bible for christmas present. She was saying that she never properly read the bible before and then I told her about some of the crazy old testament stuff (don't cut your hair, don't shave your beard, don't eat shellfish etc) and we looked it up together on my iphone.
