For my birthday Rodney took me out to a restaurant and then to see a movie. Love that guy! We went to this really cozy Thai place and I defied the threat of bird flu and ate the yummiest duck ever. Mmm mmm mmm :]

The movie we saw was Rent :D It just came here like a week ago or something, and I finally got to see it. Aaaaaah I loved it so much, I just wanted to go back in and see it again! There are definately less interesting parts (like everything that has to do with the dull guitar guy), but aaaaaaaah! I actually cried several times, which is unusual for me. *sigh*

Later on I met up with Camilla (who is now engaged!) and Anders and we went out to this place called Eken. It's usually this lounge type bar thing, but yesterday they had some sort of African/Caribbean concept, so we ended up dancing all night :D

Aww, glad that you had a nice dinner. I love Thai food with a passion. And I just wrote about meeting Anthony Rapp who originated the role of Mark in Rent on Broadway. He also played Mark (the filmmaker) in the movie, so yeah!

Kick ass! :D

That character is also kinda akward at times though :P

Yeah, I think a lot of the characters seemed awkward in the movie. On stage, it's absolutely amazing...

Yay for Thai food! :D

I loveeeeee Rent! Idina Menzel (the manly-looking bisexual) has and always will be my favourite!

Camilla? That's an Arabic name.lol (or at least a Leb name)

It's quite common in Scandinavia, and I know it's used in Britain as well. I don't know the orgin.

(OK I looked it up and behindthename.com says this:

Roman family name, which is sometimes claimed to mean "attendant at a religious service" in Latin but may actually be of unknown Etruscan origin.)

What's Etruscan? And that wouldn't surprise me if it's Roman since there's Roman influence in Lebanon so that would be where they'd get it from but who knows? lol
