Would you buy my photography? As in actually spend money on it?

A couple of friends have urged me to see if I can sell some prints, but I guess I kinda fail to see the market here. So please tell me what you think.

Here's a link to my photo page for anyone who needs a reminder: Flickr

If I had the money.

I love your photos, man. You make me wanna take pictures again. And then I don't, because mine will never be as nice.

Seriously, yes. Once I start my new job and get my paycheck, yes. :) Course, it all depends on how much you are selling them for and if they would make it to the US. :look

I'd buy the photos of you, even though i'm not a photo person. So that says a lot! I'd rather spend money on a tableau but the pictures of yourself, I'D buy!

You know, I made that comment after only seeing some of your stuff on qx. After seeing your flickr page though, wow! I rreally really really love your stuff. What camera do you use because your contrast and lighting always looks freaking perfect? Surely not that tiny little one?

Well I have two, a little one and a big one. The big one is a Canon EOS 350D :)

Hrooom barooomarooooom. Idunno. For most photographers, starting out, I'd say you'd only be able to sell one out of every so many of your images at a pretty low price... but as you get more and more known, you can sell more at higher price. There are people out there who honestly have tons of money and act as freaky creepy patrons for people. Just watch out for the weird ones who want you to like photograph them nude fucking a dead giraffe... I'd be a little leery of those peeps. :)

Hmmmah... Try showing some of your stuff to some gallery owners and ask them what they think. That's a good way to start if you're really interested in pursuring that. :)

I honestly haven't considered buying your work though. Photography just isn't for me though... but you are quite talented, I think, as far as catching good images from an interesting eye.

Your work reminds me of Mogutin's stuff; are you a fan of his? Give it a few more years of brewing and I think with the right www.slavamogutin.com

I probably would, I like the crispness and the colour in a lot of them especially the ones of places that you take

Feel free to give examples :)

And thank you!

I'm not an artist by any means. But I can tell what makes me happy and what I think is pretty. So this is totally a layman's view.

I think you capture the beauty of places by picking simplistic views and highlighting their colors or they way they fit in the view of the whole pic.
I dig this one for that....lone dandelion surrounded with crispy grass and leaves is yummy...

I love your selfportraits, but I don't think they'd sell a tons of money! :D Mebbe the nakey ones cuz you have a nice ass. :D

If I saw something I really liked that you were selling, I would consider purchasing.

:D :D
