a good way to kill some time

It's the coolest stop motion I've ever seen, I can tell you that much. It should be about 30 minutes with all three clips together. I'm putting the other two behind a cut. This is worth checking out!

but seriously, who reads comments to a video post before watching the video, then gets mad at the commenter, not cool.

i'm puzzled... it mentions prokofiev at the beginning. U are listening to the piece. but the film does not use the music ???
interesting, well done, but puzzling.

The music that forms the soundtrack to the film is Peter and the Wolf.
27th-Feb-2008 02:16 pm (UTC)
I think he means the composer.

The music in the soundtrack of the film - on YouTube, and as shown on NRK1 - is Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf, yes. There is, to my knowledge, no other composition of classical music titled Peter and the Wolf, and and I remember some of the melodic strains. It is possible, of course, that some of the clips on YouTube were soundless - it's happened on occasion, and I only looked at the final clip.

The music is not Prokofiev?
27th-Feb-2008 03:03 pm (UTC)
erm... it is. i think i was having a problem with my volume control :)

Oh I'm loving it, brings back some memories. I heard the music of Peter and The Wolf about 374 times as a child. Well done!

Yeah it's the way of youtube I guess.
27th-Feb-2008 02:24 pm (UTC)
It's the way of posting copyrighted, Oscar-winning, recent material on YouTube, mainly.

NRK1 showed the film a few months ago - possibly during Christmas. I caught the final ten minutes or so by accident. I'll have to keep an eye out for DVD editions. Nevermind, there is a DVD-edition - I'd better wait for the cashflow situation to improve a bit, though (typical monthly pay for me in winter is normally about 1/4 to 1/3 of what it is in summer).
