so i'm wondering

What is Hillary Clinton thinking of these days? If she thinks she can win, she is pretty much out of her mind. I usually doubt people are out of their minds with these kind of things though, even with people like George Bush. There is usually something logical behind it right? I am just really wondering what it is. Well time will show I suppose...

Ok so more Tokyo photos. Most of them are from Shibuya, the place you always see on tv with millions of Japanese crossing the street at once. The others are from Ikebukuro, where we went to see Yuki (www.yukister.com) who was having a photo exhibition at a café there.

They were selling some funny plants in the café. This one is growing in the appartment now :)

Actually I'm pretty sure this one was taken somewhere else than Shibuya, but I can't remember where :P

This is the view from the appartment of Thomas, a French guy living in Tokyo. I know the photo is shit, but it was nice in real OK :P

24th-May-2008 03:15 pm (UTC) - anger
Anger is usually an indicator of the things we are resisting within, denial, self loathing or some other type of feeling within. When we project it onto others, we should recognize the mirror being held up to our own face.

The same goes for those who inspire love, optimism and hope within us... What are they reflecting out ourselves and in both instances of hope and anger, why is it that we choose these people to be our target or our icon?

It's very interesting because they are both very good people. They both have served the public, the people, many times selflessly. I grew up with Hillary and Bill in the white house. There is no question about he integrity of her person, her moral nature or the kindness and hope and compassion she has in her heart. Humanitarians like Maya Angelou and Nelson Mandela have heaped praise on her about her loving and fighting self.

The same can be said for Barack Obama.

The question remains, why do we target her and him as polar opposites when in fact they work together on so many things?

Well in my opinion there is a lot of question about the integrity of her person. In fact, as their political plans don't differ much at all, this is why I really prefer Obama. I realise it is a lot harder to look perfect when you have the media and everyone picking at everything you do and say, but some of the things she has said and done during this campaign doesn't speak much of integrity at all to me :P

And maybe it is anger or bitterness or some strong emotion like that driving her, but the reason I doubt it is because of the huge system around her. See what I mean? It would take some pretty fierce loyalty for that to be kept hidden for long.

What lense do u use??? The lenses I got with my kit don't take photos this sharp!
26th-May-2008 10:51 am (UTC)
It's one I bought in Tokyo. Fixed 55mm with f1.8 :)

From what I understand it's a pretty basic one though, so I'm surprised you don't have anything like that. With your big lense fetish and all :p
26th-May-2008 10:52 am (UTC)
ah yes but it's probably higher grade lense then mine.. and f1.8 would make for some very lovely shots too!

Essey-toi!)
