It's the photos from my sister's confirmation. I already explained what that is a couple of entries back, so I'm not going to repeat myself. I guess I can say something about what she is wearing though. It's called a 'bunad' and it's the national costume of Norway. The designs are different for every region and they differ locally within the regions as well. They are really fucking expensive though, so every woman don't have one. If you want a new one I guess it will cost at least 20 000 crowns ($3900, €2500) and that's before you even add the silver jewelry. My late grandmother left her's for my sister and they refitted it for her confirmation.
Sorry for the confusion about who is a family member and not in the other entry. I will try to be more clear with my labeling in this one :P
My mother. This was at the church.
Matias, my brother. He's doing his draft service in the air force this year (=uniform)
Johanne, my sister
These are from the dinner/lunch thing after church
You can see some of the male version of the bunad there. I'm not crazy about those. I only like them on little kids.
And then the rest are from the rest of the day, just people chilling out at our house
edit: i just realised photobucket is the one resizing some of them. not cool!
