We went to Akihabara aka "Electronic Town", which is the biggest area in Tokyo for electronics stores, gadgets, and gaming/anime geeks, because I needed to buy some stuff for my camera and because it's a fun place to visit anyway. Not really many photos as we spent most of the day in shops. In the evening we went out in the gay area, but I didn't bring my camera there, so no photos from that either.

Is Tokyo like Paris in that there are literally tourists EVERYWHERE with cameras snapping things which the natives think are commonplace?

Just curious bb.

What were the guys like in the gay area? :P

There are more tourists in Japan now than before, but you still don't see many Westerners there :)

They were...gay?

I love the clutter of Japan; it's all sensory overload.

I know! And even if it is messy, it is never dirty.

Wow. These are beautiful.

Do the people there tend to be kind to strangers? I live in NYC and most random people on the street are major dicks. I hope it's better there =/

They are sooo sweet to foreigners, it's crazy. IF you ask for direction there is a big risk they will follow you all the way to your destination.

That's so awesome. That makes me want to leave everything behind and move there =/
