I have done this before, but it has been a long time now I think.

Basically what I would love is if those of you who normally don't comment, wrote a reply here to say you are there and a little bit about who you are. I'd love that! Like who are you, where do you live, maybe include a photo too? If you are under the impression that I don't know about you, then you are who I mean right now :) You don't need a livejournal account to comment, so please please. I would really appreciate ^_^

Actually twitter followers too... I'll post a link to this there.

(the photo is of me and my friend shyahir, taken by tommy)

edit: omg this is so great! keep posting you guys!

I use online translator sometimes to understand what someone is saying, but it doesn't really work when you are trying to say something yourself.

The only languages I'm really fluent in are Norwegian, English and Swedish. Danish pretty close to Norwegian though, so I can understand a little bit of that too.

My French is still shit, but I can understand a lot now. I know some Spanish too, from high school classes.

I know a little bit of Japanese, but really not much. I've started learning the symbols though;

Other than that just some random words from random languages. Other germanic and latin languages can be easy to understand sometimes because they share words with languages I already know...

Sorry, long reply :P

No, thx for the long reply

Do Parisians speak English to you? That would be amazing. LOL.

My mother tongue is French but I live in Flanders, the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium. My English is OK, I get some Spanish and can understand German. I studied Latin and Ancient Greek and I know some modern Greek words too.

I also understand a bit of Italian.

I haven't been to Scandinavia yet, but Stockholm is on the maybe-list this year.

My closest friends speak English to me, yes. Bad habits! But when I'm out and about I try to get by with French.

Stockholm is really nice in summer :)
